Body to Body Amsterdam on King's Day: Booking the 27th

Body to body Amsterdam on King's Day: why the orange weekend fills the roster early, how deposits work on a peak date, and what to send the booking line.

On the twenty-seventh of April Amsterdam dresses itself in orange from the canals outward. Canals fill with boats, the streets become one long flea market, and hundreds of thousands of visitors join the residents for a party that starts the night before and runs well past dark. For a guest who wants body to body Amsterdam on King's Day, the celebration changes three things about booking: how early to ask, what goes ahead as a deposit, and how the woman reaches your door through the crowds.

Why King's Day is a peak date on the roster

Demand for a named woman climbs sharply from King's Night, the evening of the twenty-sixth, through to the early hours of the twenty-eighth. Hotels are full, many guests are in the city for this weekend only, and nearly everyone wants the evening after a long day outdoors. The fifteen women on the wall do not multiply to meet it. A favourite who is easy to book on an ordinary Tuesday may be spoken for days in advance, so the practical advice is simple: if you have a name in mind, send it at least a week before.

That is also why the house treats King's Day as a peak date, alongside ADE, Pride, Christmas, New Year and the heaviest conference weeks. Every booking on a peak date is confirmed with a deposit of half, and this applies to returning guests too, even for a single hour on the day itself.

Body to body Amsterdam on King's Day: what the deposit looks like

The arithmetic follows the rates table on each woman's profile. One hour with one woman for a guest alone is €180, so €90 goes ahead and €90 is paid in the room. Two hours is €360, with €180 sent first. A pair of women for a single guest costs €360 an hour, and a couple sharing one woman pays the same €360 per hour on the couple line. Deposits travel by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, and never by bank transfer, PayPal or cash.

A hangover, a boat party that ran on or friends who changed the plan all count as a cancellation on King's Day, and what a cancellation keeps depends on the notice given, from nothing at more than a day ahead to the whole deposit once she is on her way. If you know by the twentieth that your plans have moved, one change of date is possible, asked more than twenty-four hours ahead and to a day within fourteen days, with the deposit carried across once. The full rules are on the cancellation policy page.

Getting through the orange streets

Trams are diverted, bridges are packed and parts of the centre close to traffic. The women know the city and plan their routes around this, and the arrival window stays at forty to sixty minutes from confirmation to a central address. What helps most is a precise entrance. If your hotel has a side door, a back street or a lift from the car park, say so in the thread. If you are staying in an apartment on a street given over to the market, describe which doorway is yours and whether the stall outside will still be there at the booked hour.

Timing the evening

The quietest window on King's Day itself is surprisingly early: late morning, before the crowds reach full volume, when many guests are still in their rooms. The busiest request window runs from about six in the evening to midnight, as people return to hotels after a day on the canals. If you are flexible, an afternoon slot or a booking after one in the morning is easier to fill with the name you want.

A long day in the sun and the crowd leaves most guests dehydrated. Drink water, shower, and give yourself half an hour of quiet before the knock. A session with a woman chosen off the wall is not the place for the last beers of the day, and a guest who is visibly drunk may find the booking ends before it begins, with the fee for the reserved time still due.

What to put in the message

Send the date, the time, the length, your hotel or street and the entrance, and two names in order of preference. A first booking with the house carries a deposit on any date, so the peak rule makes no difference there. For a pair on King's Night, allow extra lead time, since two diaries must line up on the busiest evening of spring; our page on four hands with two women explains how a pair comes together.

Once the deposit has cleared, the confirmation names the woman and the window, and the rest of the day is yours. Every guest must have reached twenty-one, orange shirt or not.
