Nearly every guest who books with us for the first time asks the same few questions, usually in the same order, and usually a little apologetically. There is no need for the apology. A first body to body session is an unfamiliar kind of evening, and wanting to understand it before it starts is sensible. This guide collects the answers into a plan. It is written for someone staying in an Amsterdam hotel or apartment who has decided to book but has not yet written the message, and it covers the decisions in the order that makes them easy: the woman, the length, the hour, the message, the room, the first minutes, the session itself, and what comes afterwards.
Start with who, not with what
New guests often begin by researching technique. We suggest beginning with the portraits instead, because on a first booking the woman matters more than any label. Browse the fifteen frames on the therapists page and notice which ones hold your attention; then use the notes below to check the choice suits a beginning.
- If you are nervous: Cindy, Laura and Luna give the slowest, gentlest version of the session. Their pace leaves space to settle, and nothing about the hour feels rushed or performed.
- If you like structure: Angelika, Jasmin, Liana and Molly trained in conventional massage before this work, so the session has a clear, reassuring shape from the first stroke.
- If conversation helps you relax: choose a shared language. Molly is a native English speaker, Danielle and Lucie speak French, Jasmin German, Laura and Liana Italian, Luna Spanish, and Cindy and Lucie speak Dutch.
- If you want her quickly tonight: Danielle, Lea and Milena live close to the centre and are often the fastest arrival on the rota.
If two frames appeal equally, send both names. Picking between two good options is exactly what the thread is for.
Choose the length before the time
The most useful decision for round one is duration. An hour is a complete session, and many first-time guests book it to confirm that the format suits them. Ninety minutes is what we usually recommend, because the opening of any first session takes a little longer than usual; you are meeting someone new, in a situation you have not been in before, and the body needs a while to stop monitoring the room. The extra thirty minutes buys the settled middle, which is the part guests describe afterwards. Two hours is generous for a first booking but not excessive, especially after a long flight or a punishing week. The rate is simple arithmetic, €180 per hour with no premium for longer bookings, so the choice is about the evening you want rather than about value.
Which format suits a first body to body session
Five sessions share our wall, and only one of them is the natural starting point. The signature oil session is what the roster was built around, it asks nothing unusual of your room, and its opening is familiar enough that nerves fade before the unfamiliar part begins. Book that, and the evening teaches you the vocabulary every other format borrows.
- Nuru is better kept for a second visit. The gel is remarkable, but its setup, a waterproof sheet and a rinse together at the end, adds novelty to an evening that already holds plenty.
- Soapy is the exception worth considering if you have just stepped off a long-haul flight, since it begins in the shower and feels more like refreshment than ceremony.
- Four hands doubles everything, including the adjustment. Most guests enjoy a pair far more once they know the single session well.
- The sensual session suits anyone who would like the softest possible start, with less weight and an even slower tempo.
If you cannot decide, write that too. Undecided is a perfectly good answer, and the reply will pair one woman with one format for you.
Pick an hour that suits your body, not just your diary
Timing affects a first session more than guests expect. A few practical observations from the women themselves:
- Leave at least an hour after a large dinner. Lying face down on a full stomach is uncomfortable, and the session involves plenty of lying face down.
- Keep alcohol moderate. One or two drinks can ease nerves; more tends to blunt the sensations you are paying for and makes the evening harder to remember.
- Straight after a long flight is excellent, provided you shower first. Few things undo a cramped economy seat as thoroughly.
- After intense exercise, allow time to cool down and stop sweating before she arrives.
- Late is perfectly fine. The diary runs around the clock, and the quiet after midnight suits a first session well.
Write the message, and say it is your first time
Your first message needs four details: where you are staying, when you would like her to arrive, how long you are booking, and who you would like, or the kind of evening if you have no name in mind. Then add one more line saying it is your first body to body booking. That sentence changes how we cast, since some women are especially good with beginnings, and it lets her open the session at a pace suited to you. The booking page walks through the process in detail, but in practice it looks like this: a hotel near the Rijksmuseum, 21:00, ninety minutes, Laura if she is free, first time. A confirmation with her name and an arrival window comes back in about ten minutes. Share your room number or apartment details in the thread when she messages that she is nearby.
Prepare the room and yourself
Preparation takes ten minutes and makes a noticeable difference. Do it during her journey rather than before you send the message, so the room is warm and fresh when she knocks.
- Warmth. Raise the thermostat by two or three degrees. Oil on bare skin loses heat quickly, and a chilly room keeps muscles braced.
- Light. Switch off the ceiling lights and leave a bedside lamp on, or the bathroom light with the door ajar.
- Space. Clear the bed completely and the floor beside it. Luggage, laptops and yesterday's clothes can go in the wardrobe.
- Yourself. Shower, brush your teeth and trim any sharp nails. Skip heavy cologne, since it mixes badly with warm oil.
- Payment. Have the rate ready in cash, on a card or in a crypto wallet, so the practical part takes seconds.
- Privacy. Hang the do-not-disturb sign outside, or tell housemates you would like the evening undisturbed.
The first ten minutes after she arrives
The opening minutes are ordinary on purpose. She says hello, you settle the rate, and she takes a moment to look at the room and decide how to set it. This is the natural time to ask any lingering questions, and she will expect some. Nobody minds hearing that you have never done this before; most of our women prefer knowing, because it tells them how much to explain as they go. While she lays out her linens and warms the oil, you can shower if you have not already, or simply sit and talk. There is no script you are supposed to know. When the bed is ready she will tell you how to lie down, and the session begins with her hands on your back, much like any massage you may have had before.
Speaking up during the session
The single most helpful thing a first-time guest can do is say what he notices. Women on the roster adjust constantly, but a few words make that easier:
- If the pressure is too much or too little, say so plainly. Lighter or deeper is a small change for her and a large one for you.
- If you are cold, mention it immediately. She can add a towel, warm more oil or move to a warmer part of the room.
- If a spot is ticklish or sore, tell her and she will work around it.
- If you need a pause, a sip of water or a different position, ask. The session does not break because you spoke.
Consent runs both ways throughout. What the session includes was agreed in the thread, her voice in the room carries exactly the weight of yours, and anything unclear is simply asked rather than assumed. Guests who treat the hour with that courtesy invariably get the best of it.
If you would like a step-by-step picture of the room itself before you book, our journal carries a minute-by-minute account of a first hour, told from the knock to the goodbye.
Afterwards
The session tapers rather than stops, and there is time for a shower before she packs up. Many guests feel pleasantly heavy and a little drowsy, so drink a glass of water, avoid planning anything demanding for the next hour, and let sleep arrive if it wants to. She will leave the room as she found it, with her linens and towels back in her bag. Nothing further is owed, no extra charge appears later and no follow-up messages arrive unless you write first.
If you enjoyed it, the thread is the place to say so, and a short note on what you liked, her pace, her conversation, the length, helps us suggest the right woman next time. Guests who return often book the same name again; others use the second visit to try a different frame, or a different format such as the slow sensual session. Anything still on your mind is probably answered in our FAQ, and anything that is not can be asked in the thread at any hour.
