Home district is the neighbourhood printed on each profile, the part of Amsterdam a woman usually sets out from; it colours the portrait but never changes the arrival window.
Every profile on the wall carries a place name beneath the portrait. Karolina's reads Zuidas. Lea's and Danielle's both read Jordaan, Cindy's and Nora's read Oud-Zuid, and Milena's reads Dam Square. It is a small biographical note, the way a museum label records the city an artist worked in, and guests take it in different ways. Some like the thought of a woman who knows the streets around their own hotel. Others just enjoy the detail.
A guest staying beside the Vondelpark gains nothing on the clock by picking Laura, whose profile gives Vondelpark, over Liana, whose profile gives Rembrandtplein. The office quotes one arrival span for every central address: forty to sixty minutes from confirmation. When a request comes in, a woman may be at home, at a café or leaving a previous appointment, and the label under her photograph cannot know which. One window for everybody is more truthful than a promise pretending to know where she is standing.
The home district does not limit where she works. Angelika, listed in De Pijp, goes to a hotel by the Oosterdok as readily as to an apartment on the Herengracht, and the fee is identical. Nothing is added for distance inside the city. Schiphol and the airport hotels are the one exception on timing: they are reached by arrangement, agreed in the thread, and always confirmed by a deposit. Addresses outside Amsterdam are not served at all.
Choosing on the strength of a district label is therefore choosing for charm rather than speed, which is a perfectly good reason. Guests who would rather choose by look, language or session will find those details printed on the same profile.
